Cogito Ergo Sum. I think, therefore, I am. That was a quote that is a philosophical statement in Latin used by René Descartes, which became a foundational element of Western philosophy.I think that's pretty cool cos it kinda like, makes us believe in ourself. I knew about this when i was in tuition, when we doing about the Matrix. The movie kinda made me think if i am really alive. Like wat my teacher said, you can see it, you can feel it, you can fell its existence, but is it really there, or does that just prove that your senses are working? Thats a mind-boggler. Before i went to sleep last night, i thought about my existence. Was I really living, our was my mind really controlled by thoughts that i am living in the world? ( just like the matrix). So in the end, i thought, since i am thinking about my existence, i should be living, cos if i wasn't thinking about it, i was stupid, and non-existent in my little world. Cogito, Ergo, Sum. That is so cool. I wanna study philosophy, but the bad thing about philosophy is that we question religion. So doubts are still there. Meanwhile, i shall be content with my world. I also like this quote : Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind,sweetened through the ages just like wine. Language and words, i guess, are pretty powerful things. They can affect someones emotions completely. Omigosh, i'm talking like a old person. AURGH! i dun wanna be old. At least not yet. COGITO ERGO SUM.
